Dylan Sikura (born 1.6.1995) is a Canadian ice hockey center. He started his career in the NHL in 2017 and he has played with the Chicago Blackhawks and is currently playing with the Vegas Golden Knights.

Early Career

Dylan Sikura played three seasons (2011-14) with Aurora Tigers in Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL). After that Sikura started to play with Northeastern University. He played four seasons with Northeastern Huskies (2014-18). During that period, Sikura was named twice as a Hobey Baker Award candidate (best college hockey player). In his last season with the Huskies, Sikura and the Huskies won Beanpot championship first time in 30 years. Dylan Sikura was drafted 178th overall in sixth round of the 2014 NHL Draft by Chicago Blackhawks.

Chicago Blackhawks

On 25.3.2018, Sikura signed two-year entry-level contract with the Blackhawks. On 29.3.2018, Sikura made his NHL debut against Winnipeg Jets – he recorded his first NHL points in that game with two assists. Sikura started season 2018-19 with the Blackhawks AHL affiliate, Rockford IceHogs. On 12.12.2018, Sikura was first time in season called up the NHL – he played 11 games with the Blackhawks after reassigned to the IceHogs. Sikura played 46 games in the AHL and 33 games in the NHL that season.

On 28.6.2019, Sikura signed two-year contract extension with the Blackhawks. Sikura started again new season 2019-20 with the IceHogs. On 8.12.2019, Sikura was recalled to the Blackhawks. On 5.1.2020, Sikura made his first NHL goal against Detroit Red Wings. On 28.9.2020, Chicago Blackhawks and Vegas Golden Knights made a trade and Dylan Sikura moved to Vegas Golden Knights.

International Play

Dylan Sikura represented Team Canada in the 2017 Sprengler Cup in Switzerland – Team Canada and Sikura won that tournament. Sikura was named to Team Canada’s pre-Olympic roster for the 2018 Winter Olympics, but failed to make the final roster.
