Denis Gurianov (born 7.6.1997) is a Russian ice hockey winger. He has been playing in the NHL since 2016 with the Dallas Stars.

Early Career

Gurianov was drafted 42nd overall in the 2014 KHL Draft by Lada Togliatti. He played season 2014-15 mostly in the Minor Hockey League, but he also played 8 games in KHL with Lada Togliatti in that season. In season 2015-16, Gurianov played 47 games in the KHL with Lada Togliatti. Gurianov was drafted in the first round, 12th overall in the 2015 NHL Draft by Dallas Stars.

Dallas Stars

On 12.5.2016, Gurianov signed three-year entry-level contract with Dallas Stars. Gurianov was assigned to Texas Stars in the AHL for the 2016-17 season, but he played one game in the NHL in that season. He made his NHL debut on 8.4.2017, against Colorado Avalanche. Gurianov played whole 2017-18 season with Texas Stars. He played 57 games and made 27 (12+15) points in the AHL. Gurianov started also season 2018-19 with Texas Stars, but he was recalled to the NHL on 7.11.2018.

On 10.11.2018, Gurianov recorded his first NHL goal against Nashville Predators. In season 2019-20, Gurianov played 64 regular season games with Dallas Stars and made 29 (20+9) points. On 20.8.2020, Gurianov made 4 goals in the Stars’ 7-3 win over the Calgary Flames and Stars advanced to round two of the 2020 Stanley Cup playoffs. Dallas Stars went all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals in that season, but lost the Finals 4-2 to Tampa Bay Lightning. Gurianov played 27 games and made 17 (9+8) points in the playoffs. On 22.10.2020, Denis Gurianov signed a two-year contract with the Stars.

International Play

Gurianov played with Russia in the 2015 IIHF World U18 Ice Hockey Championships. Gurianov played in 2017 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships – Russia won bronze medals.
