Vitaly Kravtsov (born 23.12.1999) is a Russian ice hockey winger. He is currently playing as a loan player for Traktor Chelyabinsk in the KHL as a prospect to the New York Rangers.

Career

In season 2016-17, Kravtsov played mostly in Russian Junior Hockey League (MHL) with Chelyabinsk Polar Bears. He played 46 games and made 42 (15+27) points. He also made his KHL debut during same season with Traktor Chelyabinsk. In season 2017-18, Kravtsov played mostly in KHL, but also in VHL with Chelmet Chelyabinsk. He played 51 games in KHL with Traktor Chelyabinsk and made 18 (10+8) points.

On 22.6.2018, Kravtsov was drafted in the first round, 9th overall in the 2018 NHL Draft by New York Rangers. On 15.4.2019, Kravtsov signed contract with the Rangers. Kravtsov attended the Rangers 2019 training camp and he was assigned to the Rangers AHL affiliate Hartford Wolf Pack, to start the 2019-20 season. He played 5 games with the Wolf Pack and then opted to go loan for the remainder of the season with Traktor Chelyabinsk of the KHL. Kravtsov played 11 games with Traktor Chelyabinsk and then his loan was ended by the Rangers and he was re-assigned to re-join the Wolf Pack on 13.12.2019. Kravtsov played 39 games with the Wolf Pack in season 2019-20 and made 15 (6+9) points. On 30.8.2020, Kravtsov signed one-year extension with the Traktor Chelyabinsk and he is currently playing in KHL.

International Play

Kravtsov played with Russia in the 2019 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in Vancouver. He played 7 games and made 6 (2+4) points. Russia and Kravtsov won bronze medals.
